PMVF60 is an interface protection system (IP) developed in accordance with the SHAMS DUBAI – DRRG Standards Version 2.0 Dubai
Electricity & Water Authority (DEWA).
It suits all LV and MV micro-generation systems (photovoltaic, wind), where it is used to control the interface switch between the generation system and the public grid. In case of problems on the grid (e.g. maintenance activities), the system trips, opening the interface switch (e.g. contactor) and isolating the generation system. If the interface switch (IS) fails, it can also control a backup device to disconnect the generation system at all times.
The PMVF60 features 4 digital inputs, allowing the connection of the system to the signals provided by the network operator to meet the requirements of the current regulations.
