Join us on a contemplative artistic journey, inspired by the beauty and spirituality of Al-Rawdah Al-Sharifah, where this emotional and spiritual experience is transformed into a small miniature painting. The workshop guides participants from reflection on the sacred space and its serenity to creating a tangible artwork that honors emotional and ritual heritage, while celebrating the architectural elements and ornamental details of Al-Rawdah Al-Sharifah.
Arjwan Karshah is a multidisciplinary artist, architect, and researcher with a strong interest in cultural and artistic themes. Her passion for civilizations and travel led her to the art of miniatures, which she found to be a powerful medium for expressing the human experience across different contexts.
Arjwan works on translating poetic imagery found in music and poetry into miniature illustrations, weaving a dialogue between beauty and meaning. She is also deeply interested in Islamic gilding arts and geometric design. Through her artistic practice, she explores her personal narrative and relationship with place and memory, while creating space for others to reflect on their own experiences through visual art.
