Intention for performing a substitute Umrah:
A clear intention must be present when entering into the state of ihram.For every Umrah, like: “O God, I intend to perform Umrah on behalf of (person’s name) as an act of devotion to You.”Then, after completing the first Umrah, the pilgrim goes out to Al-Tan'im to begin a new Umrah.
