هذا النبات موطنه الأصلي جنوب شرق آسيا وهو نبات حولي شجيري قائميوجد في شبه الجزيرة العربية في الحدائق، ويزرع في الأحواض كما يزرعفي الشتاء، والنورات متعددة الألوان مخروطية، ما بين الأحمر والأصفر والبرتقالي، والأوراق حادة القمة غالباً لونها برونزي، والنبات ينمو إلى طولمتر واحد، والتكاثر بالبذور ويحتاج إلى تربة جيدة التصريف غنيةبالأسمدة وفي المواقع المشمسة، كما يفضل الترب الرملية، كما يحتاج إلىري منتظم ولا يتحمل الصقيع، وكغيرها من النباتات الحولية في الرياضتزرع في الشتاء في أكتوبر ونوفمبر، ودورة حياتها قصيرة بسبب حرارةالجو في فصل الربيع، ولا تتأثر بالحشرات، ولكن تحتاج إلى صيانة مكثفة،والأزهار الميتة يجب أن تزال بانتظام للمحافظة على منظر النبات إضافةإلى استخدامها بوصفها نباتات ذات ألوان في الشتاء ونباتات أحواض.
This plant is native to Southeast Asia, and it is a persistent annual arboreal plant found in the Arabian Peninsula in gardens. It is grown in ponds as it is grown in winter. The inflorescences are multicolored conical, between red, yellow and orange. One meter, and reproduction with seeds needs well-drained soil rich in fertilizers and in sunny locations, sandy soils are also preferred, and it also needs regular irrigation and does not tolerate frost, and like other annual plants in Riyadh, they are grown in the winter in October and November, and their life cycle is short due to the heat in the Spring season, not affected by insects, but in need of intensive maintenance, dead flowers must be removed regularly to preserve the appearance of the plant in addition to being used as plants with color in winter and pond plants.
