البليس أو شاش القاضي هو جنس نباتي يتبع الفصيلة النجمية و يضم 15 نوعا. الموطن الاصلي لهذا الجنس هو أوروبا و البحر الأبيض المتوسط، أدخل نوعا من هذا الجنس إلى أمريكا الشمالية ، اخذ اسم البكرت من التسمية الفرنسية لهذه الزهرة.
نبات شتوي ارتفاعه 15سم، ازهاره غير صالحة للقطف، يصلح للتحديد، ويزرع على شكل تجمعات.
